ALG has a great opportunity for a Warehouse Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Cairns Airport. The position will give the successful candidates positive exposure to the aviation industry.

This role offers an ongoing casual contract with full-time hours and potential for permanent placement based on performance. Shifts are scheduled 4 on 4 off (days and nights).

Key duties:

  • Maintain company premises and equipment to the highest standards.
  • Operate forklifts skilfully.
  • Perform general warehouse housekeeping duties.
  • Manage assets, tools, and inventory tracking.
  • Engage in manual handling tasks efficiently.
  • Handle pick packing operations with precision.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Full working rights in Australia.
  • Valid Forklift License and minimum 3 years' experience
  • Be able to lift 20kg.
  • Able to work on their own with limited direction | Proactive and positive attitude.
  • Willingness to obtain an ASIC (airport identification)
  • Flexibility to work on a 7-day rotating roster
  • Ability to comply with medical requirements (drug/alcohol and physical tests)
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and good communication skills
  • Demonstrate full compliance with all work rules and regulations
