We're partnering with a large QLD Government that's all about jobs, skills, and economic growth. The Senior IT Delivery Manager will own and drive the delivery of major, business-critical digital programs. This is for a seasoned delivery leader who knows how to stabilise complexity, influence up, down and sideways, and deliver outcomes that actually shift capability across a department.

You'll be shaping delivery strategy, guiding teams through ambiguity, and bringing clarity to senior executives who depend on you for insight, direction and calm execution. If you've been the person in the room who can steady the ship, challenge assumptions and still land major deliverable, you'll thrive here.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the full delivery lifecycle for significant ICT initiatives with strategic value
  • Provide confident, executive-level communication on risk, budget, scope and progress
  • Navigate multi-vendor and multi-stream environments with authority and pragmatism
  • Strengthen delivery governance and uplift capability across project teams
  • Anticipate issues, unblock dependencies and help the organisation make high-quality decisions

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has deep experience delivering complex ICT programs in government or large-scale enterprise
  • Operates with presence -credible, composed, and great at influencing senior stakeholders
  • Balances strategic thinking with disciplined execution
  • Can bring cohesion to disparate teams and drive focus across moving parts
