About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our dynamic team in Cairns. Working alongside experienced staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, supporting both our retail and trade customers.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Receiving, checking, and organising incoming stock deliveries
  • Preparing and dispatching customer orders
  • Assisting with stock control, inventory management, and stocktake activities
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse
  • Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
  • Assisting with in-store deliveries and general warehouse support
  • Liaising with the sales team to ensure timely supply and delivery of products

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role (preferred but not essential)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • A current driver's licence (essential)
  • A current forklift licence (desirable)
  • MR truck licence (desirable)
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory or POS systems will be highly regarded
