East Coast Field Service Supervisor

Are you a natural leader with a passion for coffee and and a commitment to outstanding customer service? Five Senses Coffee is seeking an experienced and motivated East Coast Field Service Supervisor to join our dedicated technical team in Melbourne.

In this pivotal role, you'll report to the National Technical Service Manager and be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of our VIC based technical team, coordination of third-party service providers across VIC, NSW & QLD and management of our VIC workshops. You'll also oversee the Equipment Control register, ensuring smooth, efficient operations across service delivery, logistics, and workshop productivity.

In addition to leading the East Coast operations, this position acts as a key support to the West Coast Field Service Supervisor during periods of high demand or absence, ensuring national consistency in service delivery and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and support VIC based field technicians and workshop teams.
• Manage third-party service providers across VIC, NSW and QLD to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Oversee operations at our VIC workshop to maintain performance and quality.
• Oversee the Equipment Control (EQC) register, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across service delivery, logistics, and workshop productivity.
• Act as secondary support for West Coast field operations as required.
• Ensure customer service excellence through efficient case management and technician dispatch.
• Monitor performance metrics and service quality, escalating issues where needed.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service and workshop operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, company policies, and technical standards.

Desirable Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in a supervisory or senior technical field services role, ideally within the coffee, hospitality, or equipment industries.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Experience using ServiceMax or a similar service management platform (essential).
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage operations across multiple regions and coordinate remote contractors.
• Familiarity with Equipment Control as well as workshop operations.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Electrical/electronic qualification required.
