Future Fluent is partnering with a fast-scaling IoT company that's transforming traditional industries through real-time monitoring and intelligent data systems.

Due to strong market demand, our client is expanding their engineering capability and seeking a
Technical Lead / Principal Engineer
to join their growing team.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, execution-driven leadership role within a multidisciplinary team developing a next-generation cloud IoT platform. You'll translate strategy into action, streamline the development process, and ensure the continuous delivery of innovative functionality.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical capability with a passion for problem-solving, collaboration, and leading high-performing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own the software development schedule and drive on-time delivery of new features
  • Lead and mentor a small, distributed team of developers
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and technical issues
  • Maintain code quality, organisation, and automation
  • Collaborate effectively within an agile, multi-disciplinary environment
  • Contribute creative thinking and innovation to product development

Experience:

  • Excellent knowledge of
    React Native
    and mobile app development
  • Strong proficiency in
    C#
    and
    .NET Core
  • Solid understanding of
    design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and systems design
  • Working knowledge of
    AWS
    , systems administration, and cloud automation
  • Relevant bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience integrating
    agentic AI
    into the software development process would be ideal
