The role

Join our Business Technology Services team and help shape the future of digital services aligned with our Sustainability strategy.

In this key 12-month maximum-term role, you'll lead the design, development and enhancement of complex software applications across web, mobile, analytics, and customer-facing platforms. You'll work with a range of technologies and provide technical leadership and guidance to both internal teams and external partners. 

Some of the key accountabilities for the role will include the following:

Understanding stakeholder requirements and delivering tailored solutionsDesigning and developing complex systems with integrated technologiesProviding expert advice on Microsoft and Angular technologiesEnsuring performance, maintainability, and compatibility across applicationsSupporting compliance and guiding project teams with technical leadershipContributing to testing, release planning, and risk analysisMaintaining support processes and resolving issues proactivelyDocumenting problem analysis and coordinating solutions Who are you?

An experienced Software Designer who thrives in building robust, user-focused applications and enjoys working across the full development lifecycle, you'll bring a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset to every project.

The following key skills, knowledge and experience are also required to ensure your success in this maximum-term, 12-month role:

5+ years' experience in Windows and web application development using Microsoft technologiesStrong skills in .NET, .NET Core 3+, C#, AngularJS, , and JavaScriptFront-end experience with HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, jQuery, and responsive UI designSolid database development experience with MS SQL Server and/or OracleFamiliarity with APIs, JSON, XML, SOAP, REST, and web servicesUnderstanding of UX/UI principles and translating specifications into functional solutionsExperience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like JIRAKnowledge of source control and CI/CD using Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or TFSExposure to systems integration, messaging, and platforms like Boomi, Tibco, and LiveLinkGood problem-solving skills and initiative to resolve issues proactivelyUnderstanding of Windows Server environments, IIS, and application servers What's in it for you?

This role is remunerated at a Level 5, which is between $115,000 and $125,000 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
