A fantastic opportunity to work in the Adelaide Hills.

Country Blinds are looking for a Curtain Production Assistant to join our team. This is a casual position that involves handling highly customised jobs and liaising with the in-house team members to assist in the manufacturing of curtains and sheers.

Country Blinds is a South Australian family owned and operated company that designs, manufactures and installs window furnishings for a range retail clients, leading builders and commercial clients across SA.

Our Mission over the past 35 years and in to the future is to deliver outstanding service and products that increase the value of our clients homes and businesses.

About the Opportunity

  • Working in a team-based production environment to make specialised window furnishings with materials and components to highly customised jobs
  • Operating a range of machines to cut, press and sew curtains and curtain fabric.
  • Liaising with all departments in-house from our Sales Consultants to our Installation Technicians and all departments in-between
  • On the job training provided. Previous experience in a similar role is not essential but will be looked upon favourably.

To be a successful candidate you will have:

  • Reliable, Flexible, Quick learning
  • Well presented
  • Experience in Blind & Curtain manufacturing, cutting and/or assembly preferred
