About The Role
This position is responsible for managing strategic relationships within a designated client portfolio, building and executing plans to achieve sales and growth targets. In doing so, this role focuses on broadening SG Fleet's commercial opportunities.

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • Nurture relationships with key decision makers and maintain strong strategic partnerships. Be the main conduit of key information with the customer and internal stakeholders, ensuring contractual commitments are met and taking ownership of client issues, ensuring prompt action is taken. Ensure the client is taking full advantage of SG Fleet Novated capabilities.
  • Be proactive in identifying emerging client opportunities and ensuring these are passed onto the responsible SG Fleet area. Align activities with other parts of the SG Fleet Business (Corporate, Novated Sales, Vehicle Buying/Trading, etc.) to ensure the client experience is maximised. Ensure every opportunity identified is executed on opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client's needs, identifying potential issues and taking ownership to ensure prompt action is taken. Ensure client contractual obligations and KPI's are met.
  • Oversee and assist with regular reviews with clients and deliver a structured client visitation program.
  • Seek opportunities to up-sell extra products and services to clients.
  • Build rapport and by understanding client needs seek opportunities for revenue growth including fee uplift.
  • Drive the continuous improvement of selling competencies to ensure that selling, pitching, objection handling, and competitive intelligence are market leading.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Tertiary qualification in any business-related discipline.
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships at senior manager corporate level.
  • Experience in business development with a track record of consistent high performance and delivering results.
  • Proven track record in strategic account management or novated/salary packaging.
  • Superior communication both verbally and in writing demonstrating good listening and probing skills.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Understanding of Australian Fleet Management and Salary Packaging industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong numeracy with the ability to understand complex finance and taxation concepts.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Effective communicator both verbally and in writing, demonstrating good listening and probing skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems and strong MS office suite skills.
  • Some knowledge of industry related compliance requirements, and regulatory obligations is ideal.
