What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.

The Person:
Developed through a solid work history in bookkeeping for a variety of clients at high level, as well as managing teams, you will have a strong knowledge in bookkeeping, payroll and administration. You have led team members to meet outcomes, goals and deadlines. Cert IV in Bookkeeping and Xero Certified is desirable but not a requirement. You are confident in communicating with clients to manage their expectations, scope and timely payment of their fees.
You will demonstrate:
- Relevant experience in a similar role.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Xero (required), MYOB, QuickBooks and other bookkeeping software.
- Experience in XPM an advantage.
- High level knowledge of bookkeeping, GST, payroll and tax rules as required for bookkeeping Australian business.
- The ability to manage job workflows.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to work within set timeframes and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing professional development.
- Positive contribution to the office culture.
- Confidence and professionalism in all communications, written, and interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of external customers, providing bookkeeping services
- You'll work to spot opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient solutions for your portfolio of customers.
- Ensure the applications being used (example XPM, Dext, etc) are optimal.
- Productivity and profitability of the team and business
- Timely lodgement list
- Bookkeeping for complex clients.
- Maintain positive and growing client relations.
- Growth through referrals.
- Other duties, as required.
Salary negotiable based on experience.
