We are looking for an experienced, energetic senior receptionist/ practice manager to join our team

Our family oriented modern clinic is looking for an experienced friendly professional team member who is highly motivated and well organised to to be part of an amazing team. Working together with our General Practitioners, Nurses, existing staff and Allied Health.

Looking for someone who can work 3 days per week to start with a view to increase to 5 days per week.

Our clinic hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm and Saturday 8am to 1pm.

May also be required to do some Saturday shifts.

The successful applicant must be: well presented, reliable, empathetic, computer literate and be able to work as part of a team in a demanding environment.

Position duties will include:

* Welcoming Patients face to face and over the phone and online enquiries

* Booking / Rescheduling/ Managing appointments

* Managing RACGP registrar placements

* Processing of payments/ Billings/ Medicare claims processing

* General administrative duties

*Provide general support for our Doctors and leading a very friendly team. Organising weekly rosters. Preparing for accreditation. Medicare claiming and payments.

* Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth functioning of the medical centre.

* Manage a team of administrative and nursing staff, including team management, development, performance and training

*Manage practice budgets and workforce planning

*Commitment / excellent communication skills / problem solver / leadership skills

* Strong organisational and time management skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines

Experience:

  • Prior experience with Best Practice preferred
  • Prior experience in a health care setting
  • Medical receptionist: Preferred
