Location: Cairns & surrounds
Job Type: Casual (with view to Part-Time/full-time optional)
Pay: $34–$40/hr (plus super travel activity costs)
Start: ASAP
At Pure Coaching, we do things differently.
We're not your average support service. We're active, hands-on, and we focus on real-life experiences — gym sessions, hiking trails, beach days, Muay Thai classes, bike rides, camping trips, and more.
We call ourselves coaches, not just support workers, because we walk alongside our participants as equals. We build strong, trust-based relationships. Our clients feel like they're hanging out with a mate — who also has their back.
About the RoleWe're looking for someone genuine, energetic, and adaptable who fits our coaching model. You'll support NDIS participants (mostly teens and young adults) in achieving their personal, physical, and social goals through engaging, community-based activities.
Key Responsibilities-
Support clients in activities like:
-
Gym, swimming, rock climbing, hiking, martial arts, or fitness classes
-
Shopping, cooking, community access, or creative hobbies
-
Occasional weekend camps, fishing days, or social outings
-
-
Build rapport and maintain consistent, professional relationships
-
Track progress and report outcomes via our app (ShiftCare)
-
Drive clients to/from activities using your own vehicle or ours
-
Down-to-earth, fun, and approachable
-
Physically active – you enjoy getting out and about
-
Naturally empathetic and good with boundaries
-
Confident working 1:1 with neurodivergent clients (e.g. autism, ADHD)
-
Strong communicator with common sense and initiative
-
Willing to work flexibly, including the occasional weekend
-
Current First Aid & CPR
-
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
-
Working With Children Check (Blue Card)
-
Full Driver Licence Reliable Car
-
Ongoing support and mentorship (we coach our team too)
-
A fun, flexible, and empowering work culture
-
Opportunities to grow with us — programs, leadership, or full-time roles
-
All activities paid for generous fuel/travel reimbursement
