We are looking for 'can-do' people who want to join our production team in a ceramic tile decoration factory right here in Melbourne Southern Cross Ceramics is an Australian company who are committed to Australian manufacturing and Australian jobs. And we need people who love machinery, are 'hands-on', can follow processes and are committed to work. About the Role

This is a full-time, hands-on production role with training provided across several areas, including:

· Glaze making

· Ceramic tile printing

· Packing and quality checks

· Kiln operation

· Tile cutting

· Warehouse logistics


Salary & Conditions

· Full-time position under the Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020

· Shifts rotate weekly between:

· Day Shift: 5:00 am – 1:15 pm

· Afternoon Shift: 1:00 pm – 9:15 pm

· Hourly rate: $27.00 – $34.00 (includes loading for shiftwork), commensurate with skills and experience

· Overtime and penalty rates paid in line with Award conditions

About You

We're looking for people who are:

· Safety-conscious and follow procedures without compromise

· Reliable, punctual, and committed to long-term work

· Mechanically minded and enjoy working with machines

· Comfortable with physical work in a production environment

· Strong communicators who follow instructions carefully

· Positive, "can-do" attitude with a strong work ethic

Previous factory, trade, or mechanical experience is highly regarded, but full training is provided for the right applicant. A forklift licence is desirable but not essential

· Physically fit and comfortable with factory/warehouse tasks

· Willing to learn and consistently apply strict health and safety protocols

· Open to learning factory computer systems and procedures
