As the Senior Operations Manager – Infrastructure & Equipment at Fiona Stanley Hospital, you'll lead the delivery of Hard Facilities Management (FM) services in one of Australia's most advanced healthcare environments. You'll be responsible for ensuring all infrastructure operations, maintenance, and asset lifecycle programs are delivered safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory, contractual, and quality standards.
This is a key leadership role that involves driving service improvement, managing budgets, and leading a motivated team to deliver exceptional results. You'll work closely with the South Metropolitan Health Service, hospital clinicians, and internal stakeholders to ensure the hospital's critical infrastructure continues to support high-quality patient care.
As a Senior Operations Manager – Infrastructure, you'll make a positive impact by:
- Managing the operations of the Facilities Management Infrastructure team to meet contractual and strategic KPIs
- Leading the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of Hard FM services
- Overseeing asset lifecycle replacement programs and maintenance planning
- Managing budgets, forecasting, and financial performance against business objectives
- Supporting the rollout of new systems, technologies, and process improvements
- Driving a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across teams and subcontractors
- Building strong relationships with hospital leadership, contractors, and Serco's management teams
- Reporting operational performance and providing insights to senior stakeholders

To be successful in this role you'll have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in operations, facilities, or business management
- Trade qualification or Certificate IV in a relevant mechanical, electrical, or building discipline
- Demonstrated experience leading operations or maintenance management teams in a complex environment
- Strong background in asset lifecycle planning and contract management
- Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver results within financial parameters
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Demonstrated experience in safety, compliance, and quality management systems
- Ability to motivate and lead multi-disciplinary teams and drive operational excellence
