Our client located in Reservoir is a leading manufacturer of metal pressings, welded assemblies, hinges and heat and acoustic shields for many diverse industries. They are currently looking for a Machine operator - metals, to assist with the insertion department.

About the role

  • Machine operation on a press and insertion machines

  • Fabricating and assembly of various materials and components

  • Attention to detail is very important in this role.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of various fabrication and machining techniques, tools, and equipment will be highly regarded

  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

About you:

  • Recent experience in a metals manufacturing environment

  • Ability to use hand and power / air tools.

  • The ability to read instructions and interpret instructions and drawings.

  • Proven ability to produce work to a high standard.

  • A strong commitment to safety & all WHS policies

  • Willingness to learn
