We're looking for a reliable and eager to learn Wide Format Print Operator to fill a full time role within PhotobookShop based in Reservoir, Victoria.

We are one of Australia’s fastest growing online gifting companies, giving our customers the tools to design their own Photobooks, Canvases and other photo print products in the comfort of their home using our online and software design programs.

We have a very large array of equipment to produce the products that we make. You will be joining a team who have the latest binding equipment along with machines that cannot be found in any other company in Australia

Reporting to the Print Supervisor, your main duties will be to assist production with operating the wide format printers and finishing equipment.

**Additional daily duties include**:

- Ensuring jobs are printed to the highest quality on time.
- Maintaining our print machinery.
- Converting files to a compatible format, including manipulating data for printing.
- General administration to support the print room.
- Assist production team by operating finishing equipment when required.

**This is a full time role, 40 hours per week.**

You will be working with many other team members so excellent communication skills and being able to work well in a team environment is essential.

**Necessary Skills**:

- Previous experience working within a print room environment operating wide format printers
- Fast learner and able to troubleshoot
- Achieve quality and productivity standards
- High level of attention to detail and being able to multi-task
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for your job
- Simultaneously able to run multiple machines
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of quality standards
- Reliable work ethic and strong customer focus

**Highly desirable but not essential**:

- Experience operating Canon and Roland printers
- Experience operating UV printers
- Experience using Wide Format Rips
- Sound understanding of Adobe software programs to format documents
- Experience operating finishing equipment (binders, laminators)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
