*Mechanical Designer / Drafter – Water Infrastructure*
Location: Eastern States | Sector: Water Infrastructure
We are seeking a Mechanical Designer/Drafter to deliver design support across water treatment plants, pumping stations, and distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare design models and detailed drawings for pumps, piping, and mechanical systems.
- Collaborate with engineers to translate technical concepts into practical designs.
- Utilise design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D or similar) to produce accurate outputs.
- Assist in project documentation and design coordination across disciplines.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in mechanical design/drafting within water, industrial, or process sectors.
- Strong capability with CAD/Revit/Plant 3D or related software.
- Knowledge of pumps, rotating equipment, and piping systems.
- Open to flexibility in project scope and work requirements.
Personality Fit:
- Technical mindset with attention to accuracy and quality.
- Collaborative worker who engages well with engineers and project teams.
- Proactive and adaptable to shifting project demands.
