About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled
Excel Expert

who can design, optimise, and automate advanced formulas, models, and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will not only be proficient in Excel but will also bring
insight into the construction industry

, enabling them to build worksheets and dashboards that are practical, accurate, and aligned with real-world project needs.

This role involves working closely with project managers, engineers, and operations teams to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making in our workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise
    advanced Excel formulas, functions, and macros

to streamline data analysis and reporting.
- Build dynamic dashboards and reports for project monitoring, cost tracking, and forecasting.
- Translate construction project data into clear, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with management to design Excel tools that address industry-specific needs (e.g., project scheduling, material costs, labour tracking).
- Ensure accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of all Excel-based tools.
- Provide troubleshooting, documentation, and training for internal users where necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in
    Excel

(advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros).
- Strong understanding of the
construction industry

(terminology, workflows, project data, cost control).
- Ability to transform complex data into clear, visual, and actionable reporting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with construction standards, job costing, site conditions or industry-specific reporting formats.
  • Knowledge of other tools (Power BI, Google Sheets, MS Project) is a plus.
