About the role

Leadership:
Our Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships, Athena Thompson, is the leader of this role. She sits on our Executive team and is based in Sydney.

As a Strategic Partner Specialist, you will lead the engagement between Insight and key Partners to deliver against our strategic priorities. The key solutions in this portfolio are Digital Work, Backup and Recovery, Data Protection, End User Compute alliance partnerships.  You will be proactive in creating and driving effective and profitable business plans, including sales enablement, serving as a specialist within your respective portfolio of assigned partners internally and externally.  Along the way, you will get to:

  • Build strategic business relationships with Insight's key partners and coordinate stakeholders for mutual growth.
  • Orchestrate Strategic Partner business-plans/ engagement and enablement plans between Insight teams for scale activities.

  • Maintain Insight's partner accreditations and certifications with Strategic Partners by organising regular training and certification to ensure compliance.

  • Track revenue and profit targets by maintaining accurate weekly pipeline and forecast reports.

  • Represent Insight and our capabilities at Partner events, and create a schedule of these events, as well as debrief analysis, including ROI.

  • Keep teammates and leadership updated on partner activities.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a Partner Manager role, managing different partner programs: eg, Adobe, Citrix, Commvault, Veeam, Proofpoint, Cohesity, Arctera, Rubrik, Arctic Wolf

  • Proven stakeholder management and engagement skills, combined with good business acumen

  • Deeply conversant with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Power user of Excel and Power BI and Word) and CRM, eg, Salesforce

  • A confident, outward-looking, professional and proactive communicator, who seeks opportunities to share plans, updates on execution and results of programs and partnerships via Teams meetings, sales and marketing forums. Copilot, PowerPoint, Excel and Power BI
  • Strong project management skills
  • A desire to learn more, develop professionally, and stay up to date with new technologies and advancements
  • High level of written and spoken English
