The Role:

Ready to take your construction career to the next level? We're seeking a dynamic Site Supervisor who thrives on the challenge of managing large-scale commercial construction projects. If you're someone with 5+ years of proven experience coordinating and controlling all physical aspects of day-to-day operations on commercial construction projects exceeding $5M, we want to hear from you

Key outcomes of the role include:
  • Control all site aspects of a project
  • Manage the day-to-day supervisory tasks on sites including managing all related site staff and coordinating all resources on sites
  • Establish and monitor site commitments of time, cost, quality, variation reporting and programme
  • Develop, review and monitor programme to ensure daily activities align with project plans
  • Drive a culture of safety and participate in relevant site safety meetings
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, regulation and codes of practice standards and Manteena's systems in relation to the duties of this role and actively participate in required audits
  • Work with the Project Manager and Senior Construction Manager to create a collaborative team environment to achieve positive outcomes for the project and our clients
  • Knowledge sharing and providing coaching and mentoring to other site team members including construction workers and leading hands
You must have:
  • On-site supervisory project experience within the construction industry
  • Successfully delivery of projects with minimal to no defects
  • The ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors, and staff and displaying confidence and respect when dealing with others
  • The ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks and be accountable for your work and your site
  • The ability to learn and adopt good operational risk management practices for the project
  • Computer skills using programs such as MS Project, and MS Office Suite
  • Relevant tertiary or trade background will be highly regarded

The ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Security Clearance
