We are currently seeking a Technical Officer to provide technical expertise to manufacturing and sales in support of existing PMC products and to use this expertise to help develop and introduce new products where appropriate.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of tint moves and colour matches
- Provision of COA's from PPG or overseas plants
- Under guidance and supervision, maintain and improve existing products
- Under guidance and supervision, maintain and improve existing products
- Providing technical advice to sales, marketing and customers
- Planning and conducting field trials
- Evaluation of competitive products
Requirements
- 2-4 years' experience in the surface coatings industry gained in product development and technical service
- Bachelor of Science or equivalent with a chemistry major
- Experience in paint formulation
- Good knowledge of the manufacturing process
