Contract AI Developer
We are a fast-growing network of finance brokerages across Australia, New Zealand and the UK committed to innovation, efficiency, and growth. As part of our next growth phase, we're embracing AI technology to transform how we operate across sales, marketing, client management, lending, and business administration.
Having worked with AI freelancers in the past, we are now bringing this capability in-house. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented AI developer to join us at the forefront of financial services technology.
The Role
We're looking for a passionate AI Developer to join our team on a 6 month contract (with opportunity to extend). Ideally, you'll join us in our Surfers Paradise office full-time, however for the right candidate remote work and flexible hours are available.
Reporting to our AI Brand & Integration Specialist, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and deploying a suite of AI-powered tools to support business efficiency and growth. Specifically, you'll deliver specialist "bots" (of varying complexity) to automate key workflows and provide practical decision support to our staff.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you'll use creativity and initiative to turn ideas into working AI systems that directly transform the way we do business.
Key Responsibilities
- Build AI Employees: Design and deploy AI-powered bots that take on specific projects and tasks across marketing, sales, lending, finance, and administration.
- Integrate Into Workflows: Automate and enhance key business processes, including CRM systems, client acquisition, and deal placement.
- Custom AI Development: Create solutions that close efficiency gaps and provide brokers with actionable decisioning tools.
- Design for Usability: Ensure all AI tools are intuitive, visually appealing, and easy for non-technical users to adopt.
- Ongoing Optimisation: Monitor, refine, and improve AI bots to ensure maximum reliability and business impact.
What We're Looking For
- Strong skills in AI tools, APIs, and integrations (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, automation platforms).
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages for AI workflows.
- Experience with CRM integrations, data pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Ability to translate complex problems into simple, user-friendly AI solutions.
- A self-starter with creativity, energy, and a passion for building systems that make work more efficient.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
What We Offer
- Initial 6-month contract with competitive salary, with the view to extend if project requires it
- A supportive and collaborative team environment.
- The opportunity to deliver real innovation—building "AI Employees" that transform financial services.
- The chance to be at the cutting edge of AI adoption in a fast-growing industry.
- Reimbursed parking next to the office
How to Apply
If you're excited about using your skills to shape the future of finance and want to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking business, we'd love to hear from you. Call Nick on for more information.
