Your Role
At IAG, we're on an exciting path to strengthen our SuccessFactors capabilities and unlock new opportunities across the wider SAP BTP ecosystem. We are seeking a highly skilled
SAP SuccessFactors Tech Lead
to lead the design, delivery, and optimisation of our SuccessFactors environment. This role requires a strong balance of functional depth in key modules and technical acumen across integration, security, and system architecture.

As the solution design authority, you will be responsible supporting the technology roadmap, ensuring scalable solutions, and driving alignment between business requirements, HR processes, and the broader SuccessFactors ecosystem. You will also provide hands-on configuration, support project delivery, and act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and delivery teams.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role will be: -

  • Lead end-to-end solution design across the SAP SuccessFactors suite, ensuring alignment with IAG's HR strategy and enterprise technology standards.
  • Provide deep functional expertise in Employee Central and related modules such as Career & Talent Development, Recruitment, Compensation, Performance & Goals, and Learning—while maintaining a strong working knowledge of the broader SuccessFactors ecosystem.
  • Design and manage technical integrations with payroll, identity management, and third-party systems using tools like SAP CPI, IPS/IAS, APIs, and SSO.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, IT, and vendor partners to gather requirements, facilitate design workshops, and recommend best-practice solutions.
  • Oversee system configuration and governance, including MDF objects, workflows, business rules, and data security/compliance within SuccessFactors.
  • Stay ahead of SAP innovations, release cycles, and roadmap updates—advising stakeholders on relevance and impact.
  • Lead testing and deployment activities, including test planning, cutover execution, and post-go-live support (hypercare).
  • Mentor and support team members, acting as a point of escalation and helping build internal capability across the HR tech function.
  • Ensure high-quality documentation, change governance, and knowledge transfer to support long-term sustainability and operational excellence.

This is a permanent opportunity open to candidates across New Zealand and Australia.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in SAP SuccessFactors across solution design, functional consulting, or architecture roles.
  • Deep expertise in Employee Central and at least one other module (e.g. Career & Talent Development, Recruitment, Compensation, Performance & Goals, Learning), with a strong track record of successful project delivery.
  • Broad understanding of the full SuccessFactors suite, including module interdependencies and integration points.
  • Strong technical knowledge of SuccessFactors architecture, including integrations (SAP CPI), Identity Authentication/Provisioning (IAS/IPS), and SAP BTP.
  • Hands-on configuration experience, with a creative and analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver integrated HR technology solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Experience in system governance, release management, and compliance (including data privacy and security).
  • Strategic mindset with practical delivery focus, able to balance long-term vision with immediate priorities.
  • SAP SuccessFactors certifications in relevant modules (highly desirable).
