We are seeking a
Senior Edit Assistant
to join our post-production team. This is a key technical role supporting editors and ensuring a smooth workflow from ingest through to delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain edit timelines and systems for editors, including file structures, naming conventions, sound syncing, footage logging, stringouts, and selects timelines.
  • Consolidate edit assets for turnover to post-production finishing, including initial reconform to raw, sound asset collection, and VFX briefing.
  • Archive project files and media.
  • Provide guidance and oversee junior edit assistants.

Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant industry experience in a similar technical role.
  • Strong technical understanding of file formats, codecs, and editorial assets such as AFFs, EDLs, and XMLs.
  • In-depth knowledge of DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with editors, producers, and post teams.
