We currently have an opportunity available for a capable and experienced labourer for work with a road maintenance team based at Yass.

Commencing ASAP, this role will involve working full time hours for a period of approximately 4 months until Christmas, with potential for further work being offered depending on satisfactory performance and operational needs. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered.

Applicants will need to have current traffic qualifications for at least TCR, and MUST reside within reasonable commuting distance to Yass for call-out work.

Successful Applicants will need;

  • Current WHS White Card
  • Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain prior to start of work (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
  • Unrestricted Australian driver licence - with MR licence or above an advantage but not essential
  • Traffic control ticket/s required
  • good all round fitness for manual work tasks
  • previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
