About the role

Join the Tuggerah Auto Group as a Service Advisor in our Tuggerah, NSW location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and efficiently coordinating the repair and maintenance of vehicles. Your expertise in the automotive industry and outstanding communication skills will be essential in this customer-facing position.

What you'll be doing

  1. Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
  2. Listen to customer concerns and diagnose vehicle issues accurately
  3. Provide transparent and timely updates to customers on the status of their vehicle
  4. Coordinate with the workshop team to schedule repairs and services efficiently
  5. Prepare accurate job estimates and invoices for customers
  6. Upsell additional services and parts to customers as appropriate
  7. Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions and vehicle service history
  8. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing automotive role
  2. Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and repair procedures
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  6. Proficient in using automotive service management software
  7. Valid driver's licence and willingness to test-drive vehicles
