This is a very exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join an innovative, high growth Australian owned business. Enjoying continued and growing success through their industry leading products and services, the Financial Accountant role is newly created to further bolster the capabilities of the finance team.
The Challenge
Reporting to the Financial Controller your responsibilities will include:
- Month-end reporting activities, including timely and accurate general ledger close and balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Support the wider finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow projections.
- Manage the tax compliance including GST, FBT and corporate tax returns.
- Assist with year-end statutory accounts, liaising with auditors and tax advisors where necessary.
- Provide financial analysis on inventory and warranty stock to support global operations.
- You are CPA or CA qualified, or working towards full qualification.
- Ideally you will have around 3 years' experience in an Audit or Business Services team at a Big 4 or Mid Tier firm.
- Alternatively, you may be already working in an industry financial accounting role at a growing business looking for the logical next step.
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- You are excited by small but fast growing environments working towards a common goal together.
- You will be driven to progress your career in a growing corporate.
