Job Title: Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced financial accountant to join our global finance team.

This role is responsible for managing monthly and quarterly reporting across Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, and Malaysia, including sales reporting, general ledger reconciliations, P&L reviews, and divisional management reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the month-end reporting process to drive efficiencies
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs
  • Conduct general ledger reconciliations
  • Support Group Reporting to overseas parent companies
  • Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting
  • Perform commercial analysis of financial data
  • Manage intercompany loan accounts
  • Prepare insurance renewals, monthly BAS, annual FBT returns
  • Ensure general ledger integrity and oversee cost accounting
  • Coach and support other members of the finance team
  • Establish relationships outside finance to deliver variance analysis and commentary
  • Prepare ad hoc internal management reports as required
Requirements:
  • CA/CPA Qualification or working towards completion
  • First mover from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm
  • Or 2+ years' experience in a global organisation in an industry role
  • Strong analytical ability and clear communication skills
  • A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to see the bigger picture
  • Passionate about improving systems, processes, and supporting team members
