The Digital Marketing Assistant role will be a Maternity Leave Cover - Max Term Part Time (30 hours) Contract - anticipated to end on September 2026.

Your new job includes

As the Digital Marketing Assistant, you will be supporting the overall marketing plan for brand and partnership strategies, catering to a diverse range of customer segments and initiatives, leveraging various digital channels through social media, in-store media, e-commerce, loyalty program, email marketing and online platforms for Heinemann Oceania.

This is a rewarding role where you will be collaborating closely with our Digital Marketing Team to create marketing material, publish content across digital platforms, ensure brand consistency, user engagement and compliance. It involves a blend of technical and creative skills to execute effective campaigns therefore, you will be familiar with content management systems, digital analytics, project management, and strong communication.

As a Digital Marketing Assistant you will

  • Support the Digital Marketing Team with managing the digital content calendar and content management systems of all Heinemann digital channels for brand and partnership initiatives.
  • Create, execute and maintain marketing material for campaigns and digital media package deliverables sold to external stakeholders, keeping in line with Heinemann's brand guidelines and strategy through effective collaboration.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders during creation of digital content to schedule and publish engaging written, visual and video content for Heinemann's marketing campaigns.
  • Obtain digital assets from stakeholders and manage the digital content approval process.
  • Ensure all digital content for Heinemann's in-store and digital touchpoints align with the company's brand guidelines, voice and identity.
  • Perform content testing, report and resolve any issues on time to ensure all digital content is working in line with intended plan. Monitor performance and share media trends and insights to improve visibility and meet business and communication goals by reaching specific audiences.
  • Effectively manage stakeholder engagement to ensure optimal business performance and relevant compliance standards.
  • Support team projects with brands, partners, airport corporations and agencies to explore new opportunities across Heinemann's in-store and digital platforms.

What you should bring along

  • Ideal experience of 2 years in retail marketing.
  • Familiar with various digital marketing channels and best practices.
  • Knowledge in photoshop and graphic design is preferred.
  • Experience in digital content creation and editing is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required with attention to detail.
  • Handle working well under pressure and with deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Collaborative attitude and proactive approach to problem solving.
