We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Bather to join our team. As a Dog Bather, you will be responsible for providing essential grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring they look and feel their best. This role is perfect for individuals who have a genuine love for dogs and are interested in pursuing a career in the pet care industry. (Training provided to the right new starters)

Responsibilities:

  • Bathing and grooming dogs of various breeds and sizes according to breed-specific standards and client preferences.
  • Safely handling and restraining dogs during grooming procedures to ensure their comfort and safety.
  • Performing basic grooming tasks such as brushing, teeth cleaning and ear cleaning.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized grooming area, including proper sanitation of equipment and tools.
  • Assisting groomers with additional tasks as needed, such as drying dogs, applying treatments, or scheduling appointments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of basic dog grooming techniques and equipment preferred but not required
  • Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with patience and compassion.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, have a positive can-do attitude.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to stand, bend, and lift over 20kg dogs.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.'

We are looking for one to two candidates who can work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour
