Description/Background:

Our client is looking to simplify their business model across the amalgamated Vector and Metropolis Metering businesses, and shift their value focus towards data and away from assets. Their core revenue stream is the sale of meter data to retail market providers.

There are silos right across the business and they have a Project Director in place who has been helping to draw up a strategic plan for the 'how' of breaking down those silos, identifying quick win areas, while acknowledging a platform change in the background some time in the future (currently running JDE)

The NZ Vector culture is very utility, risk averse and asset focused, and needs to be shifted to a CI/Data driven way of thinking and realise their value is actually the data they're selling to their retailers, and not their physical assets. The end goal is that NZ and Australian businesses are working to the same processes, systems, and value focus.

Experience:

Things that will stand out are experience on large technology transformation programmes, any energy experience, experience at coordinator level vs Programme, experience working with geographically dispersed teams. Someone who is really onto it, organised, happy to work flexibly across a range of coordination tasks as needed.

You will be working with a Change Manager, Programme Lead, and BAs that they're working with who are split across Brisbane, Christchurch, Wellington and business stakeholders in Sydney.
