Overview:
We're looking for a visionary Strategy Director to join our experienced team at Leo's in Melbourne. This role calls for a strategic mastermind who can craft innovative brand strategies and elevate or creative teams to produce effective results for our clients.
As a Strategy Director, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting smart solutions for our clients and supporting new business efforts. You collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify their challenges and growth opportunities, balancing daily strategy delivery with the long-term vision for their brands.
By leading strategy across accounts and integrating insight-driven thinking into creative development, you help produce work with significant business impact. Your experience to identify proactive opportunities and deliver high-quality strategic thinking supports the agency's goal to be the leading creative solutions company, while also having fun in the process.
Day to day in this role, you'll get to:
- Shape strategic thinking across integrated campaigns and brand experiences.
- Lead strategy for a portfolio of clients and collaborate on larger projects.
- Build trusted stakeholder relationships with results-oriented strategies for brand growth.
- Craft brand, communications, and channel strategies across various platforms.
- Support new business efforts by identifying opportunities and contributing to pitches.
- Stay updated on emerging trends to inform strategic recommendations.
- Direct research and data analysis to uncover insights and build strategic foundations.
- Develop and drive workshops and strategic sessions with clients.
- Collaborate with creative teams to inspire insight-led creative ideas.
- Conduct competitive, category, and cultural analysis to find white space opportunities.
- Contribute to thought leadership and understanding of consumer and media landscapes.
- Develop clear strategic documents, including KPIs and measurement plans.
- Foster a positive team culture, mentoring junior strategists and collaborating across departments.
The person we're looking for has / is:
- Extensive strategy experience in creative agencies or consultancies.
- Well-versed in developing communication architectures and brand plans.
- Confident in autonomously guiding client strategies and campaigns.
- Proven track record in insight-driven brand and campaign strategies.
- Sharp strategic thinker, adept from brand building to product acquisition.
- Blends insight seeking and strategic thinking, aware of digital/cultural trends.
- Effective presenter, inspiring teams and your stakeholders.
- Builds strong collaborative relationships across teams and networks.
- Simplifies complex obstacles into clear strategic directions.
- Passionate about creative thinking and challenging conventions.
- Knowledgeable in marketing science and up to date with best practices.
- Proficient in measurement tools and defining success metrics.
- Contributed to award-winning campaigns and compelling case studies.
