Allied Express is seeking a dynamic and results-driven State Manager to oversee our operations across NSW and play a key role in delivering outstanding customer experience and operational excellence.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Operations, you will have overall accountability for leading and delivering the business outcomes for NSW, covering safety, risk, operational performance, profitability and people.
You will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives, and champion performance, compliance, accountability and a strong work culture within NSW and wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing customers while attracting new business through exceptional service delivery and customer experience
- Oversee performance and efficiency across depots, agencies, distribution, fleet and customer service teams, ensuring seamless and cost-effective operations
- Achieve or exceed budget targets aligned with the company's strategic initiatives, contributing to sustainable growth and profitability
- Implement and uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring national standards and KPIs are consistently met across all operational areas.
- Manage recruitment, training, and performance of NSW staff in line with company's policies, fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce.
- Prioritize the wellbeing of staff and contractors by actively promoting and implementing health and safety initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Safeguard the company's reputation through robust compliance, risk management, and operational performance.
