About the Opportunity
The JMO Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the operations and development of Junior Medical Officers, including interns, RMOs, SRMOs, trainees, fellows, clinical superintendents, CMOs, and technical assistants. This position is responsible for managing human resources functions such as recruitment, performance appraisals, and workforce planning, as well as financial oversight and operational strategy. The manager ensures the smooth day-to-day functioning of the JMO Unit, fostering a supportive and efficient environment for junior medical staff to thrive professionally.
In addition to internal management, the JMO Manager leads overseas doctor recruitment efforts, navigating regulatory requirements and integrating international medical professionals into the local healthcare system. This role demands strong organizational, interpersonal, and strategic skills to balance clinical workforce needs with long-term planning and talent development. What You'll be Doing
The JMO Manager is responsible for: -The effective leadership and management of Junior Medical Officers (including interns, Resident Medical Officers, trainees, senior resident medical Officers, post-graduate fellows, clinical superintendents and career medical officers, technical assistant and assistant in medicine) including human resources functions, financial management, operational planning and recruitment strategies.
- Day-to-day supervision of the JMO Unit including annual performance appraisals.
- Overseeing overseas doctor recruitment.

- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
