Your New Role
The Hospitality Assistant plays an integral role of support within the Hospitality KLA. The role contributes to the effective functioning of the Hospitality Department. It requires a developed sense of initiative and teamwork and excellent organisational and communication skills. The Hospitality Assistant works with relevant teachers, reports to the College Manager and is ultimately responsible to the Principal. The Creative and Performing Arts (CAPA) Assistant supports the Leadership Team, KLA Leader, teachers and support staff in the day-to-day management and running of the Creative and Performing Arts Programs. The Creative and Performing Arts Assistant (Music) supports the Leadership Team, Music Performance Coordinator, teachers and support staff in the day-to-day management and running of the Performance Music program

Selection Criteria

• An understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
• The ability to work in the creative and performing arts and hospitality/catering areas
• Previous cafe, food outlet or retail experience
• The ability to be a team player with a high level of demonstrated communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Immaculate presentation, reliability and can do attitude
• NSW Working with Children Check
• Successful candidate to undergo a National Criminal History Check and Functional Assessment
• Accreditation for Support Staff in a Catholic School (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve.
