Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrate experience and willingness to work across the lifespan.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable car for travel between client locations.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centred care.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' daily function in their home environments.
  • Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve clients' daily function.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.
  • Stay informed about current research and best practices in Occupational Therapy.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and practical ability in navigating different funding models such as NDIS, My Aged Care, Workcover, Medicare, DVA, and Private Insurance.
  • Deliver and engage in business and service development opportunities to improve the Physiotherapy service.
