The Opportunity

We are a dental practice that prides itself on delivering exceptional patient care. Our key focus is on patients' health and well-being but always delivered with care and empathy.

Our Hygiene department has been running for over 40 years making us a pioneer in developing Hygiene to dental Practice in this state. We have strong patient attendance and our hygiene department is fully scheduled along with a lengthy patient appointment waitlist.

This is an ideal role for an individual who loves working with a dedicated and cohesive team, who would like to join us in providing high-level personalised care for our patients, improve patient health, and work within a well-structured hygiene department and periodontal program.

The Practice

Our history makes us one of the original dental Practices in suburban Melbourne and we are proud to boast one of the longest-running hygiene departments in Melbourne. Facilities are new and modern.

Working with dynamic, innovative and caring dentists, you will be a part of a professional and caring practice that excels in providing comprehensive, ethical and individualised dental services to patients.

The practice is committed to a high standard of work ethics and values (flexibility, commitment, equality, reciprocal loyalty and respect), committed to training and development for the team and is a practice based on professional and sophisticated systems, processes and procedures.

The role

The role is part-time (2 days per week and specifically Wednesday and Friday) but the Friday can be offered as a half day or a full day depending upon the candidate's preference and salary is negotiable dependent upon the candidate's previous skills and knowledge.

  5. Proficient in all aspects of hygiene related scope of practice
  6. Willing to learn, grow and develop - professionally and clinically
  7. Be an effective and cohesive team member
  8. Knowledge and ability to identify dental related issues (e.g. - decay, failing restorations)
  9. Adequate computer skills
  10. Dedicated 1-hour appointments for adults
  11. The Candidate needs to have over a year of clinical experience with great references
  12. There is no requirement to "sell dental procedures" to the patients you care for.
