About the role:

We are looking for support workers who are flexible, have a range of availability and who have a passion for supporting a range of individuals.

We are seeking disability support workers, who can work in the St Albans with a a male participant.

We are looking for staff who can do day shifts from 10am to 1pm - a minimum of 2 days per week required.

Participant regularly absconds or goes on a run at the park - so you will be required to have a level of fitness to keep up with the participant.

Your duties will include

  • Supporting people to achieve their individual goals in line with their NDIS Plan
  • Daily living support, including attending to personal care needs.
  • Domestic duties such as vacuuming, laundry and general cleaning.
  • Administering medications in line with medication management plans.
  • Supporting people to access the community
  • Behavioural support, including managing challenging behaviours and behaviours of concern.
  • Implementing Behaviour Support Plans (BSP's)

Mandatory Checks and Licenses

  • NDIS Worker Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • Drivers License
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Evidence of Covid vaccination certificate
  • Two professional references
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Cert IV in Disability or a relevant qualification and/or equivalent experience
