Your Opportunity

As the Senior Advisor, Product Projects, you will:

Lead the strategic coordination and delivery of product-related projects across TAFE Queensland. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of a diverse portfolio of projects—including master product, commercial, funded, accredited, non-accredited, and micro-credential offerings

You will work closely with the OCAO Product Team and Product Leads to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organisational priorities.

This position reports to the Manager, Product.

This is a Temporary, Full-Time opportunity, to 30 June 2026 unless otherwise determined.

This position base location is flexible and hybrid however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of significant, complex and diverse product-related projects across TAFE Queensland, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and project deliverables and deadlines.

Actively engage with cross-functional stakeholders to scope, prioritise, and resource projects effectively.

Manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the product portfolio, implementing mitigation strategies and reporting mechanisms.

Provide leadership and direction to a team of Project Coordinators, ensuring consistent project delivery, progression according to schedules, risk management and accurate reporting.

Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, documentation standards, and reporting tools to support transparency and accountability.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement in project management practices, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and outcomes.

Provide advice on project management across all project stages and contribute to the development of proposals, reporting and presentations to support new project initiatives and effective communication and outcomes.

Manage budget planning and resource allocation for product projects, providing strategic advice to the Product Management team.

Work cohesively, productively and collaboratively with the Product team contributing to a culture of best practice in educational product.

Project Management: Strong project management skills related to both online and traditional learning and assessment development.

Motivation and Professionalism: High level of personal motivation and professionalism, with a proven ability to drive the development and implementation of quality learning and assessment products in a dynamic, challenging, and changing environment.

Technology Utilisation: Proficiency in leveraging new and emerging technologies to facilitate improvements in productivity and project outcomes.

Highly Desirable Requirements

Diploma or above in project management or business.
