About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Educator to join our dedicated team at PlayPatch ELC Bribie Island. As an Educator, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality early learning experiences to the children in our care. This is a part-time role based at our Bribie Island location in Queensland.

What you'll be doing

  • Establish a nurturing, safe and engaging learning environment for children
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate educational programs, activities and experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Observe, document and assess children's learning and development, and use this information to inform future program planning
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and the wider community
  • Mentor and guide junior educators, modelling best practice
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and standards
  • Contribute to the overall operations and continuous improvement of the early learning centre

What we're looking for

  • Relevant early childhood education qualification (e.g. Certificate III or Diploma)
  • Experience working in a childcare or early learning setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting children's growth and development
  • Current First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Working with Children Check
