The role

Based at Mackay Service Centre, this is a hands-on role where you will be working as a part of a supportive and a progressive team within a positive working environment and will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the team of Mechanical Fitters as required.
  • Cleaning of industrial equipment and parts in preparation for inspection and reassembly.
  • Spray painting and preparing products for despatch.
  • Assist Warehouse staff with receiving of incoming goods and despatch.
  • Ensuring the work environment is kept clean and safety is upheld at all times.

About you

  • Current Forklift Licence.
  • Current Drivers Licence.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team player as well as independently.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude to safety.
  • Previous Trades Assistant / Industrial Workshop experience highly regarded.
  • Experience with overhead cranes and rigging would be an advantage.
