We are currently looking for a suitable candidate to fill our Trade Assistant position.

We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, can think on their feet and adapt to the changing requirements of our customer base. Our ideal candidate must embrace team culture but be able to work independently.

We are looking for a Trade Assistant who can demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Current Class C Manual Driver's Licence
  • Ability to think ahead and forward plan
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions
  • Self-motivation
  • Reliability
  • Physically fit
  • Experience undertaking tasks requiring manual labour
  • High regard toward Workplace Health and Safety practice
  • High risk work licences or relevant training will be highly regarded
  • Experience working with hand tools and / or in a heavy industrial workshop will be highly regarded

Duties will include:

  • Assisting boilermakers and welders, in a workshop environment
  • Utilising a variety of hand tools
  • General housekeeping in the workshop and yard
