THE ROLE

NBS Metal Roofing is seeking experienced Roof Plumbers for residential and commercial projects. Ideally, this role will suit individuals who have a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, an ability to manage time plus work effectively as part of our team.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

  • Fabrication, and Installation of flashings, guttering, downpipe, fascia systems, metal roofing, and wall cladding.
  • Reading and interpreting of metal roofing and roof drainage design plans
  • Repairing and diagnosing roof drainage and metal roofing issues
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Domestic and commercial projects, maintenance and leak detection
  • Ensure adherence to Safety, Quality and Company policies and procedures
  • Perform tasks as outlined from Management/Supervisors
  • Support and assist team members
  • Actively participate in team meetings and professional development
  • Positively represent the Organisation

Skills & Experience

  • Trade Qualification in Roof Plumbing or Equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in the Trade
  • Valid Work Safely in Construction card
  • Valid Working at Heights ticket or prepared to obtain ticket
  • Own tools preferred but not essential
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence with access to reliable transport
  • Physical capacity to meet the demands of the job
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
