Roof Plumber

ATAC Roofing has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Metal Roof Plumber to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

· Investigating leaks and damages and planning and carrying out relevant repairs.

· Determining type, quantities and ordering new replacement metal roof components.

· Removing damaged or other components to be replaced neatly and arranging environmentally responsible disposal.

· Plan, measure, cut and correctly instal metal roof components.

· Identify, design to modify, repair, install and or replace flashings and other components to repair and prevent leaks.

· Fabricate and install all types of guttering and downpipe systems.

· Fabricate and install all types of fascia systems.

· Liaise with clients, assessing their needs and providing solutions and feedback throughout the works process.

· Manage and conduct works in accordance to relevant safety standards.

· Maintain administration requirements for jobs including but not limited to OHS documentation, client communication, purchase orders, job diary entries etc.

Applicants for this position should:

· Have relevant formal qualifications

· At least 1 year of relevant full-time experience, in addition to formal qualifications

· In some cases, a number of (3-5) years fulltime employment may be considered in place of formal qualifications

· Certificate 3 in Roof Plumbing

· Current First Aid and CPR

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· QBCC licence preferred – Roof and wall cladding (Trade Contractor Licence)

Remuneration

Remuneration base salary between $80,000 and $90,000, negotiated with successful applicant based on skills and experience.
