The Role:
As a vital member of the Tracks and Facilities team, you'll support the Senior Track and Facilities Manager in ensuring our facilities and tracks operate efficiently and safely. Your role will focus on administration, compliance, WHS standards, and facilities maintenance coordination, making you an essential part of the Tasracing team. You'll also work closely with stakeholders across the organisation and externally, contributing to the seamless execution of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Coordination: Manage training records, invoices, contractor inductions, and maintenance logs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Safety and Compliance: Assist in developing and implementing WHS policies, oversee and action external safety audits, and monitor incident reporting.
- Facilities Coordination: Organise and liaise with contractors for routine and preventative maintenance, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of issues.
- Project Support: Support the delivery of projects and contribute to long-term asset management planning.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal teams, contractors, and racing participants to foster collaboration and success.
- A tertiary qualification in WHS or Business Management.
- At least three years of experience in a similar role.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication, complimented by outstanding interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, "can-do" attitude and a knack for juggling multiple priorities while staying calm under pressure.
- Tech-savviness, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and other digital tools.
- A current "C" class driver's license.
