Crewing Coordinator

.

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for coordinating our amazing AV crew — full-time and casual — across the three key parts of our business:

  • Port Melbourne Office & Warehouse
  • Federation Square In-House
  • Zinc In-House

What you'll be doing:

  • Scheduling full-time and casual staff across audio, video, and lighting for all events.
  • Coordinating all aspects of crew requirements, from 
    prepping/de-prepping
    , 
    bump ins/setups
    , 
    show operates
    , through to 
    bump outs/packdowns
    .
  • Sourcing and inducting new casual staff and helping grow our extended crew family.
  • Keeping staff updated on company policies and procedures.
  • Occasionally rolling up your sleeves to support the team in the warehouse or on-site (we're all hands-on here).

What we're looking for:

  • This is a challenging role so we need a motivated, adaptable, and highly organised individual who thrives in the fast-paced, ever-changing live events environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
  • A solid understanding of, or experience in, professional audio-visual environments.
  • Previous experience in a crewing or operations role (with existing crew contacts a big plus).
  • Good computer skills — experience with CrewCard or Personnel Manager is a bonus.
  • A current driver's licence, forklift licence, and/or White Card (WHS qualification) are all advantages.
