About UsWe are building an innovative AI-driven debt collection software designed to help businesses streamline their receivables and reduce operational overhead. To align with compliance standards and real-world needs, we are seeking a senior Credit Manager to advise our engineering and operations teams.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
Minimum 5 years' experience in credit management (essential)
Certificate IV in Credit Management (equivilent or higher)
Previous lending authority (desirable)
Proven success in designing and delivering training programs within a collections or credit setting
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
A strong commitment to exceed customer expectations through professional and solution-focused service
Good computer skills, including experience using CRM platforms and MS Office
A deep understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to credit and collections, such as AFSL, AML/CTF, Privacy, and ASIC/ACCC regulations
Experience in financial services or a regulated collections environment (highly regarded)
- Act as a subject matter expert to guide the product development team on compliance and structural workflows in credit operations
- Provide a clear overview of credit company structures, escalation flows, debt classification, and payment arrangements
- Help define software features aligned with ASIC regulations, ACL dispute frameworks, and real-world practice
- Assist in developing internal compliance protocols, debt handover policies, and client-facing terms
- Advise on how the Software system can be built to service external credit agencies or serve as an in-house collections tool
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in a senior/management role within an Australian Credit Collection Agency
- Strong understanding of credit regulation, dispute processes, hardship protocols, and practical debt workflows
- Ability to document operational requirements for tech/engineering teams
- Experience supporting or designing credit operations software is a plus
- Able to communicate technical compliance concepts clearly to non-lawyers and developers
