About Us

We're developing a next-generation AI-powered debt collection platform. To build a bot that's not only effective but compliant and respectful, we're seeking an experienced Credit Collection Specialist to help shape the scripts, tone, and escalation logic our AI will use.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

Minimum 2 years' work experience in credit management (essential)

Certificate IV in Credit Management (equivalent or higher)

Proven success in designing and delivering training programs within a collections or credit setting

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to connect and build strong relationships with clients and colleagues

A strong commitment to exceed customer expectations through professional and solution-focused service

Good computer skills, including experience using CRM platforms and MS Office

A deep understanding of compliance frameworks relevant to credit and collections, such as AFSL, AML/CTF, Privacy, and ASIC/ACCC regulations

Experience in financial services or a regulated collections environment

About the Role

This is a hands-on, contract-based role ideal for someone with at least 2 years' experience in credit collections who understands how to communicate with empathy, firmness, and professionalism — and can turn that into structured AI dialogue.


Key Responsibilities
  • Write realistic, empathetic AI conversation scripts for SMS, email, and voice
  • Develop multi-tone responses for each stage: reminders, hardship, final notices, disputes
  • Tag scenarios that require human escalation (e.g. complaints, legal threats, emotional calls)
  • Work with engineers to calibrate AI tone and intent mapping
  • Help build an internal AI communication playbook

What You'll Bring
  • 2+ years experience in credit collection or credit control (phone-based, in-house, or third-party)
  • Excellent command of written tone, negotiation language, and customer psychology
  • Familiarity with ASIC/ACCC Debt Collection Guidelines
  • Bonus: experience in SOP development or team training
