Chef – Full Time

Position:- Full Time

QuickTurn Hospitality Services is seeking an experienced Chef to join our client in NSW , regional , 4 hours drive from sydney to Hunter Regional .

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef to contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan menus and estimate food and labour costs.
  • Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in line with restaurant standards.
  • Discuss food preparation issues with managers and kitchen staff.
  • Demonstrate cooking techniques and support team development.
  • Enforce hygiene and food safety regulations.
  • Assist in staff selection, training, and mentoring.
  • May freeze and preserve foods as required.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy restaurant or commercial kitchen.
  • Experience in training, developing, and mentoring kitchen teams.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Willingness to lead by example and demonstrate passion for cooking.
