Marketing Co-Ordinator

We have an opportunity for a talented, passionate and dedicated person to join our in house boutique marketing agency, Digitally. Part of the Pickerings Group of Companies, you will provide advice and support in the implementation of internal and external marketing and communications strategies.

Pickerings Group of Companies owns and operates automotive dealerships and other retail businesses across Queensland and the Northern Territory, including Townsville, Burdekin, Mackay, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Sunshine Coast and Darwin.

This is an exciting and rewarding role to work with 33 national car brands in executing their campaigns.

This role is full-time and based in Townsville at our head office.

Reporting to and working closely with the Group Marketing Manager, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Work on numerous marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Create content and assist in strategy development for all the social media channels
• Produce regular communications via E-Newsletters
• Co-ordinating the production and release of marketing materials as required including print and signage
• Working closely with our various stakeholders and external agencies and suppliers as required
• Develop with the team. innovative marketing content with a focus on developing video and blog content
• Assist in event management.
• Be active in numerous sponsorships and partnerships.
• Administrative duties to support marketing efforts.

About You

You will bring to Digitally a creative mind and a can-do attitude as well as the need and satisfaction to meet fast deadlines.

• Ideally you know about and understand marketing concepts.
• Can demonstrate experience in marketing and communications.
• Experienced in social media and other digital platforms.
• Have knowledge around various software packages, Microsoft, Adobe, CRM systems, Google and other creative systems.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Aptitude for writing copy across traditional and digital channels
