Job Summary:
- Genesis Co. is Australia's largest commercial algae producer, exporting high grade algae products to global markets from its operating farm in Bowen, North Queensland.
- We are seeking a dedicated team player to join our operation and contribute to producing sustainable, health-forward superfoods.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and carry out all related farm work including ponds cleaning, pond sweeping and algae harvesting and disinfection after harvest.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Assis farm manager or supervisor with production and maintenance of the farm
- Other tasks as directed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Not required but prefer with farm work before or able to deal with some physical task.
PERFORMANCE GOALS:
- Able to carry out work outdoor and meet the deadlines
- Ensure high hygiene applications all time for biosecurity
- Good with teamwork and other employees at all times
- Be proactive for workplace
- Work safely and trustworthy idea;
- Forklift and confined space ticket preferred
